Writers Search Directors Pitch

The Writers Search Directers Pitch is a unique opportunity for screenwriters with short film scripts to connect with talented directors seeking their next project. This event flips the traditional pitch format, empowering writers to take the lead in finding the perfect director to bring their vision to life. This is a pilot pitch for CineSud, as it is the first time the writer pitches the short film script without a team.

What does it involve?

• Script Development sessions: the writer will take part in the group session with the coach, who will be discussing their script and taking it to the next level. 
• Pitching Training: During the Pitch Training they need to prepare a pitch in advance and present it to the coach and fellow participants. 
• Pitch Session: Each participating writer will have a dedicated time slot to present their script on stage. 
• FilMatch: The writers will be matched with directors during the 10 min sessions to present themselves and pitch their project.

The pitching training and the CineSud Writers Search Directers Pitch are in English and obligatory to attend. CineSud does not cover travel and accommodation for participants.
