Screen Talent Europe Short Film Showcase 2026

On Friday February 13, 2026, Screen Talent Europe and its partner organisations invite (new) filmmakers and industry professionals from around the world to join the Berlinale Meet-up in Berlin. 

Taking place at The Nordic Embassies  the event combines the annual Screen Talent Europe Short Film Showcase with a networking reception, creating a welcoming space for exchange between emerging talent and industry professionals.

The program includes a curated screening of short films developed within the Screen Talent Europe network, followed by a reception with drinks and opportunities to connect, meet fellow filmmakers, and engage with STE partner organisations from across Europe.

About Screen Talent Europe (STE)

Screen Talent Europe is a network of film workshops and media centres across Europe, currently consisting of around 16 partner organisations in 9 countries.  

STE’s mission is twofold:

• To support and develop emerging filmmakers by providing opportunities to grow, connect, and collaborate — through talent-development programmes such as film production camps, pitching forums, networking events, and co-productions.
• To promote and foster international collaboration between non-formal film workshops — offering a cross-border platform to exchange knowledge, experiences, and best practices in talent development. 

By joining Dutch Film Talents to Berlin, the selected filmmaker also becomes part of this broader European network: an opportunity not only to learn and connect, but to plug into a community that actively supports international cooperation, creative exchange, and talent growth across borders.
