Dutch Film Talents to Berlin offers an emerging filmmaker a two-day talent program during the Berlinale. From February 12–13, 2026, the participant joins CineSud and Screen Talent Europe for workshops, networking, and festival activities at one of the world’s leading film events.

Dutch Film Talents to Berlin 2026

Participation is open to all emerging filmmakers from the Netherlands who participated in CineSud talent-development programs.

Dutch Film Talents to Berlin 2026 is a special talent and networking program by Screen Talent Europe in collaboration with CineSud. Over the course of three days in Berlin, the participant follow workshops and masterclasses together with nine other selected talents from STE partner organisations. They meet international film professionals, visit festival screenings, and take part in a collaborative European talent community.

Dutch Film Talents to Berlin offers a new filmmaker the chance to:

Join a two-day international talent program in Berlin during the Berlinale.
Participate in workshops and masterclasses together with nine talents from Screen Talent Europe partner organisations.
Meet and network with international filmmakers and industry professionals.
Present their recent films during the closing screening event.
Connect with the international STE network and explore future opportunities for collaboration.

Selection & How to Participate

The filmmaker representing the Netherlands is selected from projects that have taken part in CineSud programs. The selection for 2026 is already completed.

Filmmakers who wish to participate in future editions are welcome to contact us for more information. The open call for the 2027 edition will be announced in September 2026.

About Screen Talent Europe (STE)

Screen Talent Europe is a network of film workshops and media centres across Europe, currently consisting of around 16 partner organisations in 9 countries.

STE’s mission is twofold:

To support and develop emerging filmmakers by providing opportunities to grow, connect, and collaborate — through talent-development programmes such as film production camps, pitching forums, networking events, and co-productions.
To promote and foster international collaboration between non-formal film workshops — offering a cross-border platform to exchange knowledge, experiences, and best practices in talent development.
