Script Pitch
At the heart of the interforum, the fringe program for professional visitors and film enthusiasts at interfilm Berlin, lies the International Script Pitch. For eight years now the program has been inviting the authors of innovative short films to Berlin to work on their screenplays and pitch them in a competition in front of an international jury after an intensive week of workshops and coaching.
Be part of an inspiring 6-days Script Lab, including a pitch training, informal meet & greet opportunities for film professionals and the pitching sessions in Berlin. In October (the exact date will be announced soon) the finalists will have 5 minutes each to pitch their projects and convince the international jury of their idea.
The entire competition will be held in English.
An industry jury will choose a winner who will be granted with €2.000 (powered by CineSud) and access to the CineSud ShortsLab coaching program of 2025.

Vincent van den Ouden
project: The Sound of Sunset
Vincent van den Ouden is a Dutch 35-year old filmmaker and novelist from the city of Rotterdam. As a child his favourite stories took on a life of their own in his imagination, and he fantasized about being spirited away to his favourite stories. When he grew old enough to realize those chances were slim, he decided to become a storyteller himself. His short films The Maiden & The Gatekeeper and Hopsa Heisasa – a Dutch Children’s Myth have been shown at several festivals, and 2025 will mark the debut of his Dutch fantasy novel The Realm Where Worlds Start Anew at Godijn Publishing. Recurring themes in his oeuvre are existential loneliness and transience within narrative forms of magic realism.
