The CineSud Talent Film Pitch is back during Euregion Film Forum 2026! Are you an emerging filmmaker with a strong vision? This is your chance to pitch your short film idea, receive expert feedback and compete for a €2.000 production award.

CineSud Talent Film Pitch

The CineSud Talent Film Pitch is a pitch opportunity specially developed for students and first time filmmakers from The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany to support them with their upcoming project. Filmmakers that are selected for the Talent Film Pitch not only have the chance to pitch their project in front of an international professional jury and receive feedback, they also compete for a production grant of € 2.000 for their project. 

The CineSud Talent Film Pitch will be held in English and will take place on Friday March 20, 2026 in Lumière Cinema Maastricht. The pitch training will take place on Tuesday March 10, 2026. Participation in the pitch training and attendance of the Euregion Makers Day (during which the Talent Film Pitch takes place) are obligatory.

Practical info

The pitch will take place at March 20 during the Euregion Film Forum Makers Day (13.00-16.30) in Lumière Maastricht. On March 10, we will host an online Pitch Training, which is obligatory for selected participants. The pitch and pitch training will be held in English. During the Pitch Training you need to prepare a pitch in advance and present it to the coach and peers. You will receive feedback to apply to your final pitch.

Send us your submission for the CineSud Talent Pitch via the button below. An external committee of decision makers will select a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 participants for the Talent Pitch. Read the terms & conditions and the regulations on how to submit below.

Please note that only filmmakers from The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany are able to apply and participate. The pitching training and the CineSud Talent Pitch are in English and obligatory to attend. CineSud does not cover travel and accommodation for participants.

No individual feedback on submissions is given. However, if the filmmakers are a Club CineSud-member we will provide short feedback on the application. 

The selected participants will be announced on February 23th.
