Screen Talent Europe is organizing a virtual script room for scriptwriters and directors, with participants from different European countries.

Virtual Script Room

All you need to participate is a script draft, a computer, and internet access. In the virtual script room, three to four filmmakers convene online, each with their own short film script, providing feedback on each other's projects. This unique approach allows you to test your work at an early stage and gain fresh perspectives on your material.

Before the session, all script room participants read each other's scripts and prepare feedback. Coaches Anniken Fjesme and Guro Ekornholmen from talenthub Mediefabrikken in Norway are leading the discussion and creating a safe space where the filmmakers can express themselves. Over many years, Anniken and Guro have developed methods for feedback that aim to create change in the project in line with the filmmaker's intention.

Participants are obligated to dedicate the entirety of the day from 09:00 to 16:00.

Practical information

The Virtual Script Room will take place on May 22st, 09.00-16.00 online. Participants will join from different European countries. CineSud can offer one spot for a Dutch filmmaker. Read all the requirements below.

Date: Wednesday May 22, 09.00-16.00 CEST.
Location: Online, via Zoom.
Participation fee: free for Club CineSud-members. In case you are no member, but are selected, you need to register as a Club-member promptly. By submitting your project, you agree on this condition.

The deadline to apply is May 4th, 23.59 PM. Selected participants will be notified on May 14.

Submit a short film script of up to 15 pages. The script will have to be submitted in English.
Include a brief description of yourself as a filmmaker, limited to half a page.
