"If you want something you can do it!" With this motto Ronald van der Kolk has launched himself into the world of a freelance videography. With more than fifteen years of experience, Ronald is ready to share with you his craftsmanship and challenges and tell about the specifics of filming that you can use at your own work!

During the workshop Ronald will talk about the equipement that can be used during shooting; filming style and what to take into account; decoupage, editing - what to think about before taking the camera; safety, risks and mistakes.

Ronald van der Kolk

Ronald has worked as a freelance cameraman since 2006 at DutchView, Team Facilities and NEP. Currently he is running Ronald VAN DER KOLK IMAGES. Over the years he has filmed many productions in sports, shows, concerts and news programs, e.g. The Voice of Holland, Jinek, Champions League etc.

Ronald likes working from the motorcycle the most. In addition to being in the middle of a competition and the physical challenges that it entails, he can also end up in special places. The tour of Qinghai Lake is one of the most beautiful races he has taken. Ronald: "You feel privileged that you are allowed to work in a part of a country where almost no Westerner comes.

Program & tickets

The workshop will take place on Saturday March 21 from 10:00-13:00 in the Royal Theater (Stationsplein 5, 6411 NE Heerlen). The ticket price is €25,00 (€24,00 + €1,00 service costs), includes tea/coffee).
