"It is a story of the human condition and struggles against the system and the world."

Based on the truth

"I came across this real story which had a huge impact on me and which got me inspired to work with that and create a fictional piece based on many true stories. I always loved telling human stories and sharing them with others in order to give a voice, especially to the less fortunate people. For me it was all about telling an honest and real story with an extra cinematic touch. It is a story of the human condition and struggles against the system and the world."

"The script didn't evolve much or has undergone any great changed since it is based on true stories. I tried to stick to that because this story was so powerful. My only concern was to tell these stories delightfully in cinematic terms and regarding the language, without harming the authenticity of the stories. I hate extreme artificial aesthetic concern. For me, storytelling should be centred on filmmaking."

Raising awareness

"By making this film I want to share this story with millions. I want to raise more awareness and seriousness regarding domestic violence and homelessness and how the local governments deal with it."
