In de interviewreeks What the Film?! praten we met filmmakers over hun persoonlijke drijfveren en ervaringen met het maakproces.
What the Film?! #3 | Jeroen Mourmans
I am Berit Anna Rojer, and was born in The Hague on July 5th 2003. I am from the Netherlands and Curacao, and the youngest of three girls. My family moved from The Hague to Maastricht when I was 5 months old. There, I went to a small elementary village school until I was 10. After that I moved to United World College Maastricht, an international school where I was quite abruptly submerged in a fascinating diversity of different cultures, broader global issues, history, and politics.
I revelled in meeting and learning from people from all over the world. Following, when I turned 12, I moved to Singapore with my family for 6 months. I continued in the international education system, I observed that the outlook on and experience of the world were quite different from that other side of the globe. The next year, we moved back to Maastricht, where I am this year completing my education at United World College Maastricht. I am a very creative person, and have always been involved with theater, singing, and, lately, film. Together with a cohost, I recently proudly created a podcast: 'What the film?!', in which we interview filmmakers and explore various films together with them. Hope you enjoy!
