Today, a conversation with filmmakers Marie Seurin and Mathilde Cadrot from France on their film Broken Record, which is selected for the International Short Film Competition during SHIFT Film Festival 2022. The short film is about Francis, a depressed and nostalgic thirty-year-old, can't get over his break-up and spends his time listening to an old French variety song that reminds him of his lost love.
