Today, a conversation with filmmakers Max Jacoby & Pattrawan Sukmongkol from Luxembourg on their film Grandma’s Chillies, which is selected for the Made in Euregion Short Film Competition during Euregion Film Forum 2023. The short film is about a Thai expat who lives in Amsterdam, far away from her family and her roots. Because of the pandemic, she has not seen them in almost two years. Her only connection to home are daily conversations with her older sister.
