Euregion Film Forum 2025

A highlight of the event is the Euregion Shorts Competition, showcasing a selection of short films that reflect the rich talent within the Euregio Meuse-Rhine and Benelux regions. The official selection for this competition has been announced, featuring the following films:

• Jeroen Mourmans, Olli, The Netherlands
• Pim Vogels, Hold on Tight, The Netherlands
• Reza Sam Mosadegh, Echoes of Juno, Germany
• Marzieh Rasekh, Let's Play, The Netherlands
• Marco Bolla, Jeanne Remi, Au Suivant, Belgium

These films will be screened during the forum on Friday March 14 during the Euregion Talent Day program, providing audiences with an opportunity to experience the diverse storytelling and unique perspectives of regional filmmakers.

In addition to the short film competition, attendees can participate in various industry events and networking opportunities. Besides the film screenings, The Euregion Talent Day, for instance, offers panels, talks, masterclasses, and networking moments for talent from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and Luxembourg. Notable sessions include the CineSud Talent Film Pitch, Writers Search Directors Pitch, and FilMatch.

Euregion Shorts Competition

The selection for the Euregion Short Film Competition was made by programmer Alexandr Gusev (FIPRESCI journalist). During the Forum, the films in the Euregion Short Film Competition  have a chance to win the Best Euregion Film Award (with a cash prize of €250), the Special Jury Mention & the Audience Award!
