From October 4 to 10, Filmhuis ZICHT in Sittard will be the stage for DOCDAYS 2025. Under the theme “The Truth that Inspires Action”, the forum presents a rich and diverse program including international feature documentaries, Industry Day, inspiring masterclasses, the mini-DOCs showcase, the 148h-DOCs competition, and much more.

A highlight of the event is the shortDOCs Competition, celebrating short documentaries from emerging and established talent in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine and Benelux regions. The official selection features:

These films will be screened on Friday, October 10 during the DOCDAYS day program, offering audiences the chance to experience powerful and diverse storytelling from talented filmmakers.

Competing films are eligible for the Best Film Award (including a €250 cash prize) and the Youth Prize.

In addition to the competition, DOCDAYS 2025 offers a wide range of industry events, networking opportunities, and creative exchanges for professionals and audiences alike.
