Crossborder Film Conference

The Crossborder Film Conference takes place in Theater De Maaspoort in Venlo (the Netherlands) on Friday April 22nd, 2022 from 10.30 AM - 16.00 PM (CET).

Crossborder Film Conference in the heart of the Meuse-Rhine Euregion and BeNeLux is focused on co-production among the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany & Luxembourg. During this edition we will talk about film production anticipating on COVID-19, co-production possibilities within BeNeLux & Meuse-Rhine Euregion, present case studies of co-produced projects and network!

Doreen Boonekamp (Chair of the OMC group of Member States’ Experts on coproductions in the audiovisual sector), producers Marc Bary (IJswater Films), Dries Phlypo (A Private View), Maria Tsigka (Fiction Park) and Ineke Kanters (The Film Kitchen), Reinier Selen (Rinkel Film), Paul Thiltges (Producer (PTD) and president of the Luxembourg Producers Association), Peter De Maegd (Producer Potemkino), Anita Elsani (Producer Elsani Film), Paul Thiltges (PtD and president of Luxembourg Producers Association), Dany Delvoie (Project Manager International at Netherlands Film Fund), Helga Binder (Deputy Head of Film Film Funding Medienstifung NRW). The day is moderated by Dorien van de Pas (former Eurimages, Netherlands Film Fund).

Part of the Conference is the Euregion Film Pitch. This Pitch Forum also gives you the opportunity to pitch your own feature fiction or documentary project to win a development grant. Develop your own projects, receive precious feedback from a qualified jury and unspool new ideas by networking with like-minded creators.

Lastly, don’t miss the FilMatch - a matchmaking session for producers to meet potential co-producers, and discover all the possibilities (and people) crossborder localisation offers for the film world and its development.
