Ukrainian filmmaker Kyrylo Zemlyanyi is one of the eight participants of Directors Village 2023. His participation is sponsored by the partners of Screen Talent Europe, a network of film workshops and media centers in Europe.
Directors Village 2023
Directors Village is a unique training program organised by CineSud in collaboration with partners of Screen Talent Europe: New Noardic Wave, MOIN Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, Ardán Ireland, GMAC Film, FilmCloud and Film Workshop Copenhagen.
Eight filmmakers from different countries are selected to take part in this second edition of Directors Village. Each participant is sponsored by the local Screen Talent Europe partner. Directors Village 2023 took place September 13-17 during SHIFT Film Forum in Roermond. Besides seven talents from local partners, Screen Talent Europe joined forces to sponsor the participation of one Ukrainian participant. Out of 40 applications Kyrylo Zemlyanyi was chosen to take part in the training program.

Screen Talent Europe
Screen Talent Europe is a network of European film workshops and media centers that promotes collaboration among partners, facilitates knowledge exchange among filmmakers through talent camps, and co-productions. The network organizes international talent development initiatives like pitching forums, film production camps, and networking events. Additionally, Screen Talent Europe supports the workshop model for talent development and helps European countries lacking film workshops in establishing similar resources.
